Great Game Tonite

We played a great game tonite against a very good team, the team that won our Girls' Novice Tournament at St. Theresa at the end of the season.

Thanks to Carleena, Alexa, Traci, Katie, and Isabel for playing hard and not giving up. 40 minutes with no subs is tough but they did it.

Next week we will have practice on Monday nite, 6:30, at Roof Park as previously announced. Weather permitting of course......check here for updates.

Our game next week is Wednesday nite, 8:00 pm, vs. Carlisle.

Update - Game This Thursday!!

Hi everyone, note that there has been some confusion as to what you may have signed up for with Coach Cicak. He is running summer open gyms, which is not a summer leage, but just open gym. He does also have a team in the summer CVYBA league which is mentioned on his web site; this is the "rising stars" team of current 7th graders only. So if your daughter is in 5th grade now and you are signed up for something with Coach C, you are signed up for open gym.

Note that this summer leage does not conflict with his open gym dates.

Our first game is this Thursday, May 29, at 7:00. Please be there not later than 6:15. I was hoping to squeeze in a practice before the game but that did not work out. The intent of the league is to play ball and have some fun. This is excellent prep for JV tryouts for next year too.

I will provide some type of top, either a uniform jersey or a pinney. Just wear some type of athletic shorts, preferrable navy blue.

We will have practice next week on Monday, June 2, at 6:30 at Roof Park on 114 in Lewisberry, which is right next to the Fairview Twp municipal offices.

I will be emailing you a registration form tomorrow, please fill it out and send back to me or bring it Thursday. The fee is $22, payable to me (I already paid the league fee).

Directions are: Good Hope Middle School is at 451 Skyport RoadMechanicsburg, PA 17050. From St. Theresa, take 83 N to 581 West and exit at Carlisle Pike. Turn right off the exit like you would be going to Lowe's or toward Dick's Sporting Goods, Petsmart, etc. Keep going, after about 3/4 mi, turn right on Skyport Rd (Wendy's and Applebees here), and go just under 1 mile, after you go over the highway the school will be on your left.

Welcome

Welcome to the blog for the St. Theresa Saints Girls' Basketball Summer program for rising 6th graders. Note that this is not a program of the St. Theresa Parish Athletic Association, it is coordinated by Tom Hachten with help from some other parents.

Our first game will be Thursday, May 29, at 7:00. All games are at the Good Hope Middle School gym. There are only five games, here they are:
